The Water Control Switch has the advantage that it can be installed in a place which is more convenient in the home, for example, in the kitchen over the worktops etc. The main stopcocks are often fitted under the kitchen sink.

Apart from the obvious advantage and convenience of being able to control the water from a remote location, the Water Control Switch also has THREE other very useful features.

• The bypass feature – Turns the monitoring off for 1 hour
• The Off Mode – Allows you to turn the water OFF for short periods of time. eg when away for a few days or on holiday.
• The Wet Pad Detectors – Sensors for leaks in vulnerable areas like washing machines and dishwashers (you will need to purchase Wetpads™ separately).

The Water Control Switch can be fitted anywhere in the house. Typically on the inside of the door under the worktops. The switch is connected between the Floodcheck® Auto valve, and the power supply. A three metre lead is supplied for this purpose.
